Jeanne fell in love with Aunt Maggie's Puffin Sweater while visiting the area several years ago.

Aunt Maggie's products received favourable reviews for quality, range of products and the added touches of her brand in 2016, upon submitting a collection of her garments for an expert in handicrafts.

The Craft Council of Newfoundland and Labrador is a member-based organization that works to maximize the artistic and economic potential of the craft community of the province. Aunt Maggie is a member of the Craft Council and supplies products to their Devon House shop.

The "Crafts of Character" symbol recognizes quality crafts, gifts and apparel made in Newfoundland and Labrador. Producers and retailers featured on their site have met specific program criteria to receive the "Crafts of Character" designation. Aunt Maggie's products have earned the "Crafts of Character" seal.

Created with multi-coloured pairs of gloves and mittens in a traditional diamond pattern, this beautiful installation adorned a wall with practical items showcasing creativity in crafting.

Aunt Maggie's as Art
From June to October 2013, visitors to the Discovery Center on Route 431 could see Aunt Maggie's gloves and mitts as part of the in-house gallery. Her caribou sweater, hat, mitts, socks and slippers have a permanent place in the lobby display.
